Fully adaptive personal website and blog.

A personal website is, well, personal. So, when it came time to redesign my own, I decided to show my love for both the web and mobile with a fully adaptive design.

Adaptive design means that the site’s layout adapts to fit the screen no matter what device or screen size the user views it on. This one-web approach requires more work, but results in true, cross-platform support without burden of native apps or the need to invest in one or more device-specific ecosystems.

Interested in an adaptive design for your next web project? We can work with you to make it happen.

The Yellowstone Historic Preservation Board and the Western Heritage Center wanted to turn their historic walking tour of downtown Billings into an interactive experience available to anyone with a mobile device and internet access.

The tour was re-created as a mobile web app that runs on any smartphone or tablet with a modern web browser. Historical sites are marked on an interactive map and provide photos, facts, and in-depth architectural information for each site.

The custom mobile web app was build using HTML5, jQuery Mobile, Google Maps, and Google Fusion Tables.

In the news: New app shows off historic downtown Billings

Five Practices book series website and blog redesign.

Robert Schnase, Bishop of the Missouri Conference of the United Methodist Church and author of the best-selling Five Practices book series, needed a website redesign that reflected the spirit of sharing and growth found in his work.

Adapted from the book series cover art, the new design provides a familiar setting for Bishop Schnase’s community-building blog, stories of strength, resources, and daily devotionals.

A book gallery makes browsing and ordering Five Practices books and support resources an easy and enjoyable experience.

The site is built on WordPress 3 to keep the publishing process simple and allow for the continued growth of the site and the Five Practices community.
